Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt to reunite on screen after 19 years for 'Fast Times At Ridgemont High' Reading

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have once again wreaked havoc on social media. However, this time the news is not fake but absolutely true. The former couple will be reuniting for a virtual table read once again. Brad and Jennifer have joined the star-studded cast of the Fast Times at Ridgemont High. They join previously announced cast of Jimmy Kimmel, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Sean Penn and Dane Cook.

The big Brad and Jen reunion will be a first after their highly publicised run-in backstage at the SAG awards early this year that sent social media in a tizzy. However, on the work front, it will mark their reunion after 19 years, when brad made a guest appearance in the Thanksgiving episode of Friends in 2001.

An online portal quoted a source that revealed how the former couple responded the news of them sharing a platform. The portal reported, “Jen loves that Brad has joined the cast, they’re great friends and she knows it’s going to mean more donations for the cause so it’s a double win. Jen’s ecstatic about the whole project, the cast is epic and it’s such a classic movie, she’s really looking forward to it.”

The portal further quoted, “Brad has no apprehension to work with Jen on Fast Times because it is going to be really fun. Plus he is friends with Jen and it is being done to help others. So if they can get together with all the other major talent that is being a part of this, they thought it would be a no brainer. They respect each other and are happy to be a part of something that is going to provide help and assistance for so many. So it is a win-win situation right out of the gate. It could lead to working together on other things once all the Covid stuff ends. If it is the right situation they wouldn’t be against that at all.”

Dane Cook’s ‘Feelin’ A-Live’ virtual table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, will take place on August 21. It is a a fundraiser/virtual live table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the iconic teen film directed by Amy Heckerling and written by Cameron Crowe. The event will benefit the emergency relief nonprofit CORE, the humanitarian organization co-founded by Penn and CEO Ann Lee that is currently on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19providing testing and relief services in the US.
