‘The Secrets We Keep’ Trailer: Noomi Rapace is out for vengeance against Joel Kinnaman who she believes is a war criminal

The first trailer for The Secrets We Keep is out and will definitely jolt you out of your reverie. Directed by Yuval Adler, the post-WWII revenge thriller stars Noomi Rapace, Joel Kinnaman and Chris Messina. The story sees Noomi as Maja who is rebuilding her life in the suburbs with her husband (Messina). However, a chance encounter with a neighbour (Kinnaman) makes her believe that he is the German who committed war crimes against her and her family 15 years earlier during the Holocaust.

Things take a bad turn when she kidnaps him and seeks vengeance for his brutalities committed against her and her family. The trailer sees Maja reveal to her husband about her horrendous past and the fact that there is a man hidden in the truck of her car. However, the man denies all such charges and tells the couple that he was not even in the war, but to no avail.
