The Happy Days Of Garry Marshall: Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts and others pay a tribute to late filmmaker Garry Marshall in this ABC special

ABC aired a special tribute to late television and film wizard, Garry Marshall with The Happy Days of Garry Marshall. The genius has left behind a legacy of artistry with movies and shows like Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries and Happy Days.

Explaining an accidental slip-up in one of the bleacher-scenes, Anne said, 'I realized that we were going to be on the same step so I turned really fast and slipped on a puddle and just...I mean I just fell, just absolutely fell... and burst out laughing and kept going with the scene. Never thought about it again and all of a sudden, like six months later, it's in the trailer." Wait, so it was not method-acting? What a revelation!  "He kept it. Julia Roberts, who won a Golden Globe and an Oscar-nomination for her role in Pretty Woman, recalled a heart-warming incident with Garry. "“After Pretty Woman, Garry gave me a necklace and he gave me a great card that he wrote for me. And the necklace had a diamond heart on it, and it's so that I would always remember that wherever I was that there was someone that loved me and is on my side," she added. 

Richard Gere, Julia Andrews, Jimmy Kimmel, Abigail Breslin, Yvette Nicole Brown, Cary Elwes, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Ashton Kutcher, Rob Lowe and John Stamos, including Marshall's family.
