The first official trailer of Fast & Furious 9, directed by Justin Lin, is finally out and it is yet another chapter of car theft and bank heists. The trailer brings forth the rivalry between Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his brother, Jakob (John Cena), who is the new entrant in this franchise.
While Dominic is seen getting used to retired life with his wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and their young son Brian (who is named after the late co-star Paul Walker’s character), Jakob who is touted to be "a master thief and an assassin" is ordered to murder Dominic by cyber-terrorist Cipher (Charlize Theron). What follows next is a face-off against the brothers set against the backdrop of ustling London. As expected, the trailer is full of death-defying action sequences, adrenaline-pumping sound effects and yes, a few surprises as well.

The F9 brings back three characters Sung Kang as Han, Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, and Jason Tobin as Earl, who first appeared in Tokyo Drift. Launched in 2001, the franchise is about illegal street racing, heists and espionage. The ninth part is scheduled to release on May 22, 2020.
