Prince William’s and Kate Middleton’s daughter Princess Charlotte had all eyes on her last week as the four-year-old began school. On the first day of her school, she was accompanied by her parents and elder brother Prince George. Tugging on her ponytail she met her new teacher and clung to her mom as she made her way to the front door. However, the media was abuzz whether the ‘feisty’ nickname she had earned at the nursery will stick now that she is at a big school.
Charlotte was given the nickname of ‘Warrior Princess’ because of her tomboyish nature at Willcocks Nursery. Apparently, Charlotte loves climbing trees and is very much an adventurer and is known to possess a feisty personality.
On the other hand, her school bag that was carried by the Duchess of Cambridge also garnered substantial media attention as the accessory on her bag stood out. Charlotte’s bag accessory was a pink sequin unicorn keychain and it turns out the little princess loves unicorns.
In fact, when Prince William had appeared for the Fire Fighter's Charity to mark Emergency Services Day he had spoken about his daughter’s love for unicorns and had said, “My daughter loves unicorns. Loves them. Very cool." Apparently, he revealed this information when his attention was caught by a unicorn horn in an artwork made by a firefighter’s children during an art therapy session at the charity.
