It has been over a decade since the popular American sit-com F.R.I.E.N.D.S went off air. The show that first began in the year 1994 still remains relevant. Even today, the show remains a top pick amongst teens and young adults. The show still manages to have a loyal fanbase that would go beyond bounds for Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Ross and Chandler. Why you ask? There just aren’t enough reasons that would justify our love for the show.
If, like us, you have been binge-watching the show over and over again, all these years, because you can't get over it, here’s a good news for all the FRIENDS fans. Monica Geller and Rachel Green are coming together. No, this isn't another spin-off series. It is so much more.

Courtney Cox, 53, recently announced her wedding to Johnny McDaid which will take place in Ireland this year. While the wedding cards are shuffling, it was not difficult for the bride-to-be to pick her maid of honour. Without a doubt or second thought, her finger pointed out towards her BFF from 1994 - Rachel Green a.k.a Jennifer Aniston.
Remember the iconic episode where this roommate duo along with Phoebe sits on the sofa sipping beer in their brand new white wedding dresses. And how Monica and Rachel would daydream about pretty wedding dresses and dreamy wedding ceremonies. Of course, they witnessed quite a few of them, considering how often Ross decided to tie the knot. But now it will all be too real.
According to a source of a leading Hollywood website, “Courtney and Jennifer are thick as thieves and they have got even closer in recent months. Courtney wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle without Jennifer by her side. They have a very strong friendship.” In the show, Rachel walked Monica down the aisle in the show when she was uniting with her one true love – Chandler Bing. Now, she will be doing that again. The only difference is, this time it will not be for the camera but for the love.
Rachel and Monica, time and again, have given us tears of happiness with their unconditional love and weird but pure friendship. Maybe it is time to get ready with a box of tissues yet again!
