Prince Harry meets well-wishers outside Windsor Castle on wedding eve, Meghan Markle arrives with her mother at a hotel

May 19, 2018 will go down in world history as a celebration of love over societal norms. The royal family prepares for the wedding of Meghan Markle, an American humanitarian activist and now a former actress, with Prince Henry of Wales aka Prince Harry. It is mention worthy that Meghan is only the second foreigner to have been married into the British royal family.

A day before the wedding, Prince Harry met well-wishers and the crowd outside Windsor Castle, the venue for his wedding tomorrow. Keeping him company was his brother and the Duke of Cambridge - Prince William. The latter shall serve as Harry's Best Man at the wedding.

Meanwhile, bride-to-be Meghan also arrived at the Cliveden House Hotel with her mother Doria Ragland, where the mother-daughter will be staying on the eve of the nuptials, to the ceremony. Ragland met the Queen for the first time at Windsor Castle, accompanied by Meghan, 36, and Prince Harry, 33. She has already been introduced to Prince Charles and Prince William.

The Suits actor's father Thomas is unable to attend the wedding after undergoing heart surgery. She released a statement on Thursday saying she hoped he could be given space to focus on his health. The statement read as, "Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health. I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday."

And thus, she asked Prince Charles to walk her down the aisle on Saturday when she marries Prince Harry, the Kensington Palace said. The Prince of Wales was "pleased to be able to welcome Ms Markle to the Royal Family in this way", the palace added.
