Reliance Brands Ltd partners with designer Rahul Mishra to boost RTW with a 60:40 Joint Venture

After power collaborations with designers Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna and Ritu Kumar, Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) has now joined forces with renowned designer Rahul Mishra to set up a Joint Venture. This power move will enable the fashion icons to present an exclusive ready-to-wear collection at one of the global fashion weeks.

RBL has taken the majority stake making this venture a ‘60:40 partnership’ with an undisclosed sum of amount. This venture will see the new brand opening major flagship stores in the major cities within the next five years. This new brand will also both vertically and horizontally tap the avenues in the field of accessories, footwear, home, beauty, and jewellery.

Rahul is no new name to the fashion world, thanks to his signature collections at the Paris Haute Couture Week for the last five seasons. His RTW journery can be traced back to Paris Fashion Week in 2015. He also bagged the coveted Woolmark Prize at Milan Fashion Week in 2014. As of now, the designer will be at the helm as the brand’s Creative Director.
