In order to honour Virgil Abloh’s memory and legacy, Louis Vuitton showcased its late Men’s Artistic Director’s final S/S22 collection in Miami, on November 30. As expected, the runway witnessed Abloh’s masterpieces glide down the runway in the form of eccentric jackets, overcoats, baggy bottoms and tulle skirts. Celebrities such as Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Farrell Williams, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West occupied the front row to honor the friend and see his latest collection. However, what caught the eye and touched our hearts was Virgil’s giant statute put up by LV, covered in an orange-yellow-blue gradient design. Virgil was seen wearing an LV sweater teamed with a pair of loose-fitted pants along with an LV belt and sneakers. His signature chunky glasses and an LV notebook completed the work of art. Quite lifelike!
