Gone too soon: Gigi-Bella Hadid to Donatella Versace-Pierpaolo Piccioli, fashion fraternity mourns the loss of iconic fashion designer Virgil Abloh

It is indeed a black day in fashion as we lost a gem from the fraternity. Artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton and founder of Off-White, designer Virgil Abloh has left the mortal world for a heavenly abode on Sunday, November 28 after battling a rare form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma 'privately' for several years. He was 41.

Sending a shock wave across the fashion industry, many celebs mourned the death of the iconic fashion designer. One of the first designers of colour to head a European Luxury house and change the definition of street-style fashion, Virgil will always hold a place in fashion history. His contribution to the industry was immense and no matter what, his void cannot be filled. Rest in Power, Virgil. You will be forever missed!
