When film and fashion powerhouses travel together, the conversations have got to be interesting and fun! Recently, Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh, both fashion’s favourite children, flew together to attend Goa’s 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Passing time on their way, the actor and the filmmaker got into a funny banter that entertained their fans.
Commenting on Ranveer’s red Sabyasachi outfit, Karan joked that he initially looked like a STOP sign and then compared it with the outfit worn by Air India’s famous mascot, Maharaja. Giving a witty response, Ranveer rose up from his seat and imitated the mascot saying, “Loved and revere across the country. A cult figure, I'll take it as a compliment,” he was seen saying in Karan’s video.
Later, Kjo went on asking about the recent fashion trends that totally hit it with him. To which Ranveer replied, “The Gucci x Balenciaga Hacker Project, that's like a moment in fashion history.” When asked about his views on the latest film, House of Gucci, starring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Salma Hayek, Al Pacino and others, the actor said that "Jared's red carpet looks are to die for." The video ended with Karan’s signature ‘Toodles’ remark.
The actor-filmmaker duo has been working together for their upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. This film marks KJo’s directorial comeback after five years.
