Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are currently shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film marks Karan Johar's return to direction after 5 long years. While night shoots do get hectic for actors, directors and crew members, Karan and Alia added a fun twist to Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani's schedule. The filmmaker, known for his spicy and juicy rapid-fire rounds on his chat show Koffee With Karan, played a quick game with Alia.
Karan recorded Alia on his phone as he played a quick round of rapid-fire with her. The video started with Karan asking Alia about the film they were shooting for. The actress fumbled as she said Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and giggled. “Tongue twister that, right?” Karan asked. He asked her about the whereabouts of Rocky, played by Ranveer Singh. Alia once again goofed up and said he was shooting. She corrected herself and told that he was working out.
Karan was quick to say, "These were not trick questions, Alia, that you were really getting so flummoxed by." Alia, who couldn't stop giggling, said she was 'feeling stressed' and dislikes rapid-fires. The actress further answered the filmmaker's questions and revealed the 'songs of the season' for her are Diljit Dosanjh’s Lover and Shershaah's Raataan Lambiyan. The 'film of the season' was Sooryavanshi. She revealed her favourite show currently is Succession.
When Karan asked, "Something that you have really, really loved on Instagram that you want everyone to reach out to? What have you watched on Instagram that really moved you?," Alia replied, "You winning the Padma Shri."
Karan's caption read, "Just some night shoot rambling’s !!!! Next one with Rocky! Watch this space!" Reacting to the video, Ranveer a.k.a Rocky wrote, "Can’t leave you two alone for a second (sic)"
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
