The couturier’s latest collection for SS21 is true to the essence of her clothing label and sees the seamless blend of fashion and comfort in athleisure, all at once. In an exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon.com, the ace designer opened up on her latest collection, its size-inclusivity and its diverse range.
Q. Tell us what inspired you to launch this collection?
This collection is dedicated to all the lovely women out there. When we talk about athleisure, we have a certain preconceived notion in our minds. I wanted to give it a twist. This latest collection is driven by comfort and inspired by luxury and stays true to the essence of House Of Masaba.
Q. How is it going to be different from other athleisure brands?
What sets this collection apart from other athleisure brands is that it is super comfortable, and chic. The trackees are made of a butter-soft crepe fabric and has soothing floral and playful animal motifs. The collection is originally designed for the bride for the day after to lounge in. The trackees are extremely versatile too as it is also for every woman who just wants to stretch, fly, sweat or just be in.
Q. Is it size-inclusive?
Yes, absolutely! We want to cater to every woman out there and hence, any size can be custom made.
Q. Is there soon going to be trackees for men?
We have started with trackess for women but going ahead, there will be trackees for men too. We will launch them soon.
