Gorgeous humanoid robot Sophia is now a Cosmo girl!

“Namaste India, I am Sophia, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot and I am on the cover of Cosmopolitan India March edition. Go check it out!” With that video, Sophia introduces the Cosmo India digital cover for March. She also flashes a naughty wink, which rivals Wink Girl Priya Varrier, who recently broke the internet with her eye-play.

The Digital Issue has two special women gracing the cover of Cosmo India. There’s Bollywood sweetheart and Instagram queen Sonam Kapoor talking about female friendships, causes close to her heart, and more. The bonus cover features Sophia, the world's most advanced humanoid, where she discusses boyfriends, what being a Saudi Arabian citizen means to her, and her future plans...decked in finest Indian couture.

The cover flaunts Sophia the Robot declaring, “I’m not looking at world domination.” And yes, she looks stunning in a silver dress by Tanieya Khanuja, with earrings by Swarovski.

She can be seen in four different looks; a metallic windbreaker shirt by Dhruv Kapoor, a cascading ruffled gown by Gauri and Nainika in white, another stunning black number Tanieya Khanuja and a Huemn printed floral jacket paired with a highlighted lehenga by Anamika Khanna.  Sophia, needless to say, has carried off all the four looks with aplomb.

Sophia had made history recently by becoming the first robot to be granted legal citizenship. She has also been given legs, and can now move forward. A humanoid robot, she is capable of holding a conversation with humans. She has been created by Hanson Robotics, who hit the headlines in India recently when she declared that Shah Rukh Khan was her favourite star.

Sophia let the world know of her choice during an interactive session at the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT). When SRK learnt of this, he was quick to respond. He took to Twitter to quip, “Public declaration of love for a ‘lady’ who has come to my country, India. U Simulate me, every bit and byte of u, Sophia.”

Sophia, who was given a Saudi Arabian citizenship recently, had revealed that machines would never destroy the human race, that she wants to work for women’s rights, and that while she doesn’t get upset like humans do, she hopes to have real physiological feelings someday and express her emotions.
