Fashionista, style icon and impeccable actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is all set to add another feather to her multi-faceted hat. Stepping into the new role of her life, the actress made a PHENOMENAL pregnancy announcement, making fans and fashionistas around the world scream with joy. Sonam, who is expecting her first child with husband Anand Ahuja this fall, tied the knot in May 2018.
Sharing a heartwarming post on her social media account, Sonam gave us a peek of her intimate maternity shoot photographed by Ashish Shah and styled by sister Rhea Kapoor. Resting her head on lap of husband and father-to-be Anand Ahuja, the Kapoor fashionista, posed in a black bodysuit that bore a plunging neckline. She kept her look subtle with nude lips, a barely-there glam and soft curls.
She captioned her post, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way.

While she is certainly not the first Bollywood celebrity to embrace motherhood, she is definitely the first one to come out with an unconventional announcement. Well, in all fairness, one should expect nothing ordinary from this Kapoor fashionista, not even her pregnancy announcement! While many actress-mothers in the tinsel town have resorted to quintessential maternity shoots in flowy gowns, Sonam is setting an all-together different tone with her intimate, voguish and downright fashionable announcement that reflects everything that she is. Safe to say, the actress is as usual setting a trend in the industry and we are yet to see who all jump on this bandwagon.
