Traffic in Mumbai came to a standstill on a busy Friday when Reliance heiress, Isha Ambani, hosted the Bvlgari Roman Holi exhibition at Antilia. The doors of the Ambani mansion opened for dignitaries and celebrities from different parts of the globe. Gracing the star-studded event was Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin who attended the soiree with global ambassador and our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Isha Ambani, the director at Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail, turned the best host in town as she welcomed dignitaries warmly. Representing Indian handlooms and Indie designers, she wore an Ashwin Thiyagarajan-created upcycled Banarasi floor-length gown. The outfit took over 100 hours to make. Standing tall and stunning, the entrepreneur threw the grandest and finest bash in town.
Adding glamour to the evening, celebrities like Priyanka, Madhuri Dixit, Ayushmann Khurrana, Athiya Shetty, Sharvari and more set the fashion parameters high. The global desi girl, Priyanka looked stunning in a muted pastel colour saree by Gaurav Gupta. The risque attire came with a centre-thigh slit and a long trail. She paired the fusion saree with a bralette-style blouse.
Following the Bvlgari Roman Holi exhibition was a scrumptious dinner. The dining table was lit with candles and adorned with exotic colourful flowers and wie glasses. The guests were served Rajasthani delicacies including spicy, crispy and rich in flavous Mirchi Vada, a delicious and traditional Papad ki Kadhi and many other dishes. The meal ended on a sweet note with Ghevar, Thandai and Tiramisu.
This pre-Holi celebration was indeed memorable.
