One of the most popular names globally, Karan, also known as KJo in pop culture, has often proven to be a relevant filmmaker, responsible producer and sometimes a fun actor too. Oh, how can we forget Koffee With Karan! 

Karan has been an important member of the film fraternity for more than 2 decades. Though like every person, Karan has had naysayers, his fans are way too large in number to allow hate to reach and affect him. His positivity, fun-loving nature and knack for telling relatable stories have garnered him a strong fan base that has snowballed over the years. Includes us in it!

In the month of June, Karan launched the Yash Johar Foundation, in memory of his father. The filmmaker said it will "aim to improve the quality of life for people in the Indian entertainment industry". In a social media post, he shared that his father's "heart lay in the people who made up the industry — from the spot boys, to the cameramen, the editors to the actors, they made up his world." Hence, it is an initiative to keep the memory of late Yash Johar alive.
