Aila Re Aillaa, Na Jaa & Tip Tip Barsa Paani, chartbuster songs recreated for Sooryavanshi with a dash of newness

Excitement is at its peak as theatres across the nation are getting ready for the arrival of Anti-Terrorist Squad officer Veer Sooryavanshi on November 5. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film titled Sooryavanshi is touted to revive the lost glory of cinema houses that were adversely affected due to the pandemic and lockdown. Starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead, Sooryavanshi is the 4th film in Rohit's cop-universe.

Sooryavanshi is a special film for many reasons. One is the reunion of Akshay and Katrina after 11 years. Their last film together was Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Apart from that, Rohit along with Tanishk Bagchi has brought back some iconic and popular songs. The reprised versions of these iconic songs will feature in Sooryavanshi. Take a look at the songs that got a modern touch to resonate with the youngsters.

Aila Re Aillaa

The first song of Sooryavanshi was the dance number Aila Re Aillaa. Picturised on Akshay, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, the song was much loved and enjoyed by the audience. As a result, Aila Re Aillaa garnered 29.7 million views on YouTube in 24 hours. Originally composed by Pritam for Akshay's Khatta Meetha (2010) and Daler Mehndi was the singer. Interestingly, in the reprised version, fans got a chance to see Ajay dance!

Na Jaa

Two days before Sooryavanshi's release, the makers released the much-awaited song Na Jaa. Picturised on Akshay and Katrina, the peppy dance number has instantly become the party song of the year. The original version of Na Jaa was by Pav Dharia and it released in 2017. Pav Dharia and Nikhita are the singers of the version recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.

Tip Tip Barsa Paani

Back in 1994, Akshay and Raveena Tandon set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry in Tip Tip Barsa Paani from Mohra. Now, 27 years later, Akshay will be recreating the same magic with Katrina in Sooryavanshi. Tip Tip Barsa Paani's reprised version will feature in the film and the original singers Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan have been retained. However, the makers of the film haven't released the song yet.
