Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away today at the ripe old age of 98 years leaving a deep void in the hearts of the fans as well as the film fraternity. The thespian’s passing brought an end to the golden era of Bollywood which was dominated by the triumvirate of Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor and Dev Anand.

Known as the Tragedy King, Dilip Saab was an actor par excellence who had been the icon of not only lesser mortals but also of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
