Hola fashionholics! You all know the weekend has arrived and so has the time for a much-anticipated Moonwalk. Oh my my, the town has been sizzling with new sartorial serves from our telly fashionistas and we're giving out all the fresh deets. So folks, put your seat belts on and giddy up for the rollercoaster ride ahead!
Alexa play Boss Bitch by Doja Cat! The 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' 11' star lately has been leaving us insatiable with her style quotient. Tiwari's latest Instagram post gave us powerful boss vibes as she was seen donning a hot pink Ranbir Mukherjee suit. Her minimal accessories like a delicate chain with a mesmerizing pendant sitting on a low-cut blouse, all-natural makeup, nude pout and hair left open, made her look oh-so-ready to take over an entire board meeting to heaven.
Blue is a fan favourite and the TV actress had our hearts racing in an elegant peacock blue lehenga-choli. Designed by Mrunalini Thakur, her stunning outfit featuring heavy zardori embroidered stole the show! The accessories were kept minimal with just an ivory gold potli bag and some golden bangles.
If retro discos and contemporary club nights eras reproduced an outfit, it would be Nia Sharma's recent one. The actress donned an interesting sleeve cut multi-coloured Bobby blouse with a low-cut featuring dainty studded criss-cross, a statement belt flaunting more subtle studded affair and a black skirt with a brief thigh slit from Monde Lifestyle. Her make-up was almost nude with smokey party eyes in lilac and hair let down in messy beach waves. We're stealing this one for those insane party nights when the world goes back to normal.
Mood: Party All Night
Shefali Jariwala dazzled in a custom-made sequinned anarkali by Kalki for Rahul & Disha’s reception. Her glamourous contemporary ethnic creation was from their latest ‘The Shimmers’ collection. The accessorization was minimal to focus on the antique dark green velvet hued silhouette encrusted in striped sequins with the floor-grazing cape and silhouette.
EIJAZ KHAN AND PAVITRA PUNIA
Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar's sangeet was indeed a glitzy affair! Now another 'Big Boss 14' couple who took the ethnic couture to the next level Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia. Their attires complemented each other as Eijaz opted for a traditional bandhgala sherwani while Pavitra looked like an ethereal vision in a white lehenga choli.
MEN IN BLACK FEAT. ARJUN BIJLANI AND VISHAL SINGH
Singer Rahul Vaidya and TV actress Disha Parmar wedding ceremonies were very much a star-studded affair. And Arjun Bijlani and Vishal Singh were among many bigwigs to attend the ceremony to offer their support for the newlyweds. Both of them served a desi wedding ceremony iteration of 'Men in Black'. Arjun Bijlani looked regal and respectful in a black sparkly suit on a white shirt, fitted pants and a cute bowtie. Vishal Singh on the other hand opted for a stylish all-black Kurta Pyjama buttoned on one end.
Dapper In Black
Sana Makbul got her peaches out in telly town. Styled by Saachi Vijaywargia, she looked an absolute angel in her recent peach embellished lehenga. With just the right amount of lace grace incorporated in her outfit, she opted more for heavy ethnic statement earrings, a diamond bracelet and a subtle ring. Her dewy makeup and side hair partition was kept simple and sweet. Definitely a stealer for your BFF's wedding!
Pretty in peach
For the DisHul wedding reception, Aly Goni arrived hand-in-hand with Jasmine Bhasin colour-coordinated outfits. Styled by Saachi Vijaywargia, he sported a navy blue indo-western vest coat on kurta pyjama. This time, the actor brought an unconventional modern twist to his otherwise traditional outfit.
Lately, we've been garnering irrevocable admiration with Tina Datta's style. Though we're heading in monsoon, the dusky actress isn't done giving us a sensual summer mood board. She recently adorned a monochromatic Taiyo co-ord set from Mikoh in all black submerged in delicate white prints. The sleeveless number had a thigh-high slit which accentuated her toned legs. And the highlight was an Ivy wrap sandal that coiled further up her leg. She looked like a sexy bronzed barbie ready to have her hot girl summer!
We usually heart anything and everything that comes out of Hina's fashion showreel. However, this time the telly starlet was seen decked up in a casual white crop shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. Though the brown statement belt offers us college nostalgia and we love the snakeskin boots, the whole look just doesn't add up. A bit of the downer from the fashion queen of the TV industry!
We love you but NO
Rashami is always close to making a statement and sometimes, it's a point well made. Although other times, it misses the mark completely. Unfortunately, the latter is the matter with her latest ensemble picks. Let's have a pick at her stylist's blunders, shall we?
The actress showed up at telly town's most popular Rahul-Disha sangeet in a coffee-coloured lehenga. Except for the fact that her outfit was drowning in light blue and golden embellishments, the corset choli which was supposed to up the look ended up coming across as tacky. The traditional ensemble looked good on paper but failed to rise to its perceived potential. With the barest neck ever witnessed at a wedding and celebration and shimmery dangling earrings, even her accessorization faltered this time.
Her next attire that alerted and haunted the fashion police immediately was a short white blazer dress crowded in blue floral prints. Again could be sexy with the deep-neck tucked just into a button, powerful with the crisp overset shoulder pads and high fashion with its escalation into an Ariana-Grande-signature asymmetrical flouncy skirt but ended up bizarre in totality. It just seemed like the actress forgot her pants and decided to roll with it nonetheless. The hair, makeup and accessories like basic hoops were adorable but nothing noteworthy.
Could do so much better
A media personality who never fails to entertain and so does her fashion sense. She showed up to the #DisHul's sangeet after the wedding in an atrocious pink and blue lehenga with silver embellishments. With a red dupatta tucked in a kamarband with a recall value of a WWE championship belt, her entire existence drowned in the tackiest of gold jewellery. It was a colour, jewellery and outfit overload. Our question is who let her go out like that?
Not the kind of golden we asked for
And we are done for this week. Stay tuned for next week's fashion updates!
