Moonwalk: Shruti Haasan and Fatima Sana Shaikh- the two opposite spectrums of color and style!

This is a call for all fashion enthusiasts! Peeping Moon has brought back to you another segment of *drum rolls* Moonwalk! Where we guide you through some of the fashion wins and fails of the week.

Due to covid, however, our beloved tinsel townies are not too keen on venturing out and thus there aren’t enough looks this week. *Sigh*

But it’s okay, we have some really good wins and some not-so-great looks this week!

Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan is our top pick of the week as this diva gave us one of the best Goth looks possible. With a blood-red lip and purple-tinted eyes, this fashionista brought forth her darker, vampire side with a fishnet full sleeve top, a spaghetti strap tank top, and satin pants with thickly studded belts and a litany of thick necklaces.

Goth Princess

Rasika Dugal

Actress Rasika Dugal is as versatile off-screen as she is on screen. When it comes to fashion, there is no leaving her behind as she brings some of the best looks to us. This time, the actress gave us not one but two looks! For her first outfit, she represents Raw Mango with their silk Repens placket shirt, Serrul wide pants, and a jacket. Styled by Tapaswini Dalai and Shubham Jawanjal, the diva kept her hair in a messy bun and sported silver jewelry from Neeta Boochra.

For her next look, the actress gave us some abstract magic with a one-off shoulder, puff sleeve, black, blue, and white asymmetrical dress by Vedika M. Once again, styled by Shubham Jawanjal and Tapaswini Dalai, the actress looked stunning with a simple ponytail and muted accessories by Vasundhara. She completed her look with a gold strappy pair of heels.

Double Trouble

Jacqueline Fernandez

One of the sweetest stars in B-town, Jacqueline’s muse this week was the legendary Frida Kahlo! The actress starred in a music video for an upcoming Salman Khan movie Radhe, and we were surprised to see who her overall look was matching with. Matching the necklace, hairstyle, and flower arrangement on her head, the diva looked gorgeous, dressed like a nymph in her red blouse, a heavy and detailed necklace. Nymph-tastic isn’t it?

Arjun and Anshula Kapoor

Sibling duo Anshula and Arjun Kapoor looked carefree and fun in their CCC looks - comfortable, classy, and casual for a photo shoot. The actor was styled by Abhilasha Devnani and Diptee Agarwal into a black jacket by Perona and a white shirt by Bhaane. He wore a Lune necklace to complete the look. Anshula looked cute in her green dress by Mishé, earrings by Marc Jacobs, Necklaces and rings by Misho. Styled by Manisha Melwani, she chose to wear vintage bracelets and a pair of leopard print stilettoes.

For another look for this shoot, Arjun was styled by Abhilasha Devnani and wore a simple graphic print t-shirt and a pair of black denim. He gave us the cool kid vibe with his fun sunglasses.

Comfy and Casual

Fatima Sana Shaikh

Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has made it a mission to reign out hearts in this fantastic white collared crop top and a fun indigo blue and white skirt from Zara. Styled by Akshita Singh and assisted by Nishtha Parwani, this gorgeous actress truly left her mark in the flirty yet sassy fashion stream. With her hair up in a ponytail, she donned a pair of golden Antarez earrings and white boots, looking overall like an absolute girl-next-door.

Cutie Patootie

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani

The good-looking duo left us a little underwhelmed with their airport looks. With how hot Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff are as individuals, it was a surprise to see them dressed this muted. Maybe that’s the reason we don’t know who the designers are?

It was an interesting choice, not a good one, unfortunately. The outfit didn't qualify as a dress or suit and in fact, the wind definitely made it a point to show how poorly chosen the outfit was. A little thought into what clothing is airport friendly is a must, isn't it?

Just... no
