The COVID quarantine season must have longed for more than three months now, but the recently launched collections have surely lived up to the zest and vogue of fashion. Adding dollops of glamour to our monsoon lockdown days Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana and Giambattista Valli recently launched their latest collections, and oh boy, where do we sign up to get our hands on it, right away!
BALMAIN
Balmain launched its Resort 21 collection that featured the best of ready to wears and accessories in pastel combinations, striking and bold prints as well as some monochrome drama.
Suits with a fresh colour combination, statement bags, polka shoes and chunky sunglasses; Balmain’s recently dropped BOMB collection featured all of this and so much more!
DOLCE & GABBANA
While Balmain’s RE21 was all about modern glamour Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria collections went old school way.
The Italian fashion house displayed all of the three collections featuring dramatic silk and chiffon kaftans, spunky floral hats and headgears, strikingly bold kimonos and other ensembles that were no short on fur, feathers and motifs.
A riot of colours indeed!
Not to forget these extravagant pieces of jewels and accessories that have our hearts!

GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
Pulling out the big guns, Giambattista Valli brought nothing but sartorial extravaganza on the collection charts.
Striking monotones teamed up with extravagant ruffles, statement puffy sleeves, tulle capes and trains, all of this made for a dreamy dramatic collection that was absolutely high on glamour.
Oh, the drama!
Adding that ‘extra’ in extravagant.
Dramatic shoulders? Yes, please!
