The deadly Coronavirus, also known has COVID-19 has spread its reach around the world and many people have fallen prey to it as well. With India being the latest to join the infected country list, the government officials have started taking precautionary measures to minimize the impact of the same. Owing to the public safety, annual gatherings and galas have been gone for a toss recently. Many educational institutions, workplaces, gyms, theatres have been shut down.
However, in the times of need, our Bollywood has stood together to 'practice and preach’ lessons on awareness around the Coronavirus. In such a situation of panic, many celebrities have used their social media accounts to either create awareness about this life-threatening virus or educate them about the ways to battle with it.

As nominated by Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Deepika took up the ‘Safe Hands’ challenge in order to spread awareness about how to was one’s hand and maintain hygiene when it’s literally the need of the hour. Not just this, to spread this important message, she also forwarded the baton to other renowned celebrities as well.
