Moonwalk: Self love! Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan reign the fashion ‘Takht’ of the week

Hey there PeepingMoon fam, let’s welcome the weekend on a high fashion note with our Saturday’s segment- Moonwalk!

With events and awards happening all year long, we can never be short on fashion inspiration. Let’s see what trendsetting looks our favourite tinsel town celebs flaunted this week.

KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN

We are SOLD on Kareena’s self-musing look in this custom Picchika saree that screamed her name, literally! Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Bebo looked a sexy saree siren in this pastel Italian organza ‘Bebo’ drape from Picchika. Her custom power blue drape teamed up with an off shouldered blouse featured delicate floral detailing and highlighted her name in an elegant manner. Dainty golden danglers from Sunita Kapoor added glamour to her fancy drape look. A signature nude glam with subtle smokey eyes, tinted pink lips along with that elegant braid accentuated the serenity of her look.

Bebo Bebo! Oh Yeah

RANVEER SINGH

Styled by Nitasha Gaurav, Ranveer unleashed the retro madness in this Sabyasachi creation. Billowy polka shirt teamed up with baggy embroidered pants…ooh, mama, we are drooling at his sight! Shoes from Christian Louboutin completed his spunky attire. And whoever thought only women can rock a deep plunge, allow our Baba to prove it to you otherwise! With those vintage sunnies and a gangsta hairdo look, he walked straight out of the 70s’!

Baba killing us in style!

DEEPIKA PADUKONE

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, Deepika looked a proper’ Gulaabo’ in this polka printed Sabyasachi number. She teamed up her pink fuchsia gown with a long cape and a statement Sabya belt. DP opted for vintage kadas and long danglers to go with her indie look. Winged eyes, subtle glam, and textured curls completed her look.

Think pink!

SONAM KAPOOR AHUJA

Sonam in Bhaane definitely makes our day. Layers of chains and golden hoops from Viange, Her Story and Clove served as a perfect accessory to this look. Printed coat, pleated skirt, and Bottega Veneta heels, we want to steal this look already!

So chic!

KIARA ADVANI

Loving this ‘Bebo’ inspired look on Kiara! Styled by Lakshmi Lehr, Advani opted to sizzle in a popping yellow off shouldered Atsu Sekhose number that bore an asymmetrical detailing on its top. A nude glam, tousled curls gave justice to her beauty. Eyeing those Far Left glares!

Hey there, sunshine

SONAKSHI SINHA

While promoting her upcoming film Dabangg 3, boho babe Sonakshi served us some serious indie looks and needless to say, we loved them all!

Loving these KoAi co-ords teamed up with a printed knotted jacket on our beaut. Jewels from Amrapali added a boho element to her look. A nude glam and bronze lips added the finishing touches.

Sona took the boho look to another level with these Anamika Khanna co-ords. The ruffled asymmetrical skirt and those tribal prints blended very well to make one stunning creation. Chunky silver jewellery from Amrapali and Lara Morakhia contributed to the indie element of the look. Nude glam and poker-straight tresses completed her look.

Boho babe

AYUSHMANN KHURRANA

Nothing makes our day better than a grungy and sexy Ayushmann Khurrana. Metallic textured blazer, shiny shoes and a pulled back hairdo, are you trying to kill us, Ayushmann?

You sexy!

ANANYA PANDAY AND TAAPSEE PANNU

Ananya and Taapsee added a dash of neon to our weekend with their luminescent avatars.

Styled by Ami Patel, Ananya added dollops of glamour to our dull days with her neon ruched dress from Oh Polly. Those tangy neon heels surely add on to her luminescent look. A natural dewy face and soft curls was the route to take with this look. Looks like Panday has a thing for tied up heels. Loving it!

Taapsee’s take on a neon-clad look was too good to miss! She teamed up her neon Alamode jacket with a chic crop top from Free People and a popping wrap skirt from Purple Paisley. Opting for a natural look and wild curls, she was good to go.

Lime and neon-y!

JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ

What’s sultry than Jacqueline? A suited up Jacqueline! Styled by Chandini Whabi, Jacquie slayed us in this cheetah printed suit from Dolce & Gabbana. Different from her usual look, if we may say. Kohl rimmed winged eyes, nude lips and a pulled back hairdo, completed her classy look.

Suit up and slay!

JANHVI KAPOOR AND BHUMI PEDNEKAR

Janhvi and Bhumi bring back Manish Malhotra’s signature bling drapes back to our fashion list!

Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Janhvi’s showered some purple rain with this sequined MM drape. Blings from Khanna Jewellers accentuated her shimmery look.

While Janhvi’s look was a serene one, Bhumi opted for a sultry look in this sequined creation. A messy bun and radiant glam added a dash of glamour to her scintillating look.

Shine and shimmer

SANIA MIRZA

For her sister’s wedding, Saniya gave us a sneak peek into her wedding wardrobe which could be useful for the festive season just around the corner.

Sangeet ready in Aisha Rao! Bold prints, bright hues and chunky silver accessories…we just love everything about this look.

Mirza exuded royalty in this elegant sharara from label Jayanti Reddy. Encrusted jewels from Razwada added on to the reality of her look.

For another event, Sania wore a bright and bold sharara from Raw Mango. Heavily encrusted chokers, jhumkas and rani haars added to the glam of her look.

Mirza opted for a subtle look for the reception in this wine hued lehenga from Jade.

Lookbook

NEENA GUPTA

Neena stumped us all in this peppy frock and it is so nice to see her carry this outfit with oodles of sass. Chic loafers, ma’am!

A for the effort!

MALAIKA ARORA

Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, Malla opted for a white guipure lacy number from Dany Atrache. Amongst her many other looks for the week, we feel that this is a tad bit of a downer.

No love no hate

Well, with this, we end our list. Till then, stay tuned to PeepingMoon.com
