Durga Puja Edit: Kajol to Alia Bhatt, the tinsel town divas put their festive foot forward in style!

When the entire nation was celebrating the victory of goddesses, our tinsel town isn’t left behind. The tinsel town has been ringing in Navratri and Durga Puja in full swing. Bright hues, ethereal drapes, and solah sringaar…what more to ask from this festive season!

Safe to say the Durga Puja celebrations were a sartorial treat to us all as tinsel town divas brought in their traditional A-game and gave us oodles of inspiration for all the festivals to come. With Diwali just around the corner, you might want to take a few notes from this one.

KAJOL

Kajol was a treat to our sore eyes with her vibrant hues and traditional drapes. Styled by Radhika Mehra, here are some of her looks that we absolutely loved.

She began the festivities in this intricately detailed anarkali from Maisara. Embroidered dupatta, embellishments and floral prints…her vibrant ensemble ticked all the boxes. She paired up her attire with a pair of statement danglers from Purab Paschim.

There’s another look that we absolutely loved. This perky yellow Raw Mango drape is a perfect choice for all the upcoming festivals. Ladies, if you are planning to take a traditional route for Diwali, try something similar to these lines. Her turquoise bordered yellow drape was complemented with a pair of elegant jhumkis from Purab Paschim and a potli bag from Aanchal Sayal. Soft glam, gajra braided bun, and a minuscule rounded off her look.

For another desi look, the actress opted for a bright pink and green drape from label Lajjoo C. Her six yards featured subtle embroidery detailing and was paired with a green bandhani blouse. She accessorized her look with a statement-making necklace and bangles from Purab Paschim. A golden potli bag by Aanchal Sayal rounded off her attire. In the beauty department, Kajol opted for muted glam, a pink pout and a pulled back ponytail to go with her look.

TANISHAA MUKERJI

Joining sister Kajol, Tanishaa served us some desi looks this festive season as well. Styled by Saachi Vijaywargia, here are some of her note-worthy looks.

Tanishaa kickstarted the Dura Puja festival in a subtle baby pink drape paired with a pair of statement-making danglers. Winged eyes, nude lips, and a bindi worked its magic on the beauty. A classic bun added finishing touches to her look.

From a subtle pink to a mellow yellow! This Artisan Saga drape was elegant and all kinds of beautiful. She paired her six yards with a bright red embroidered blouse that gave contrast to her attire. Accessories from Curio Cottage and Joolry accentuated her look. With a radiant glam and center-parted bun, she was good to go.

For her Navmi look, Tanishaa dazzled in a gold saree paired with a hot pink blouse from label Peeké. An elegant pair of statement-making danglers from Curio Cottage amped up the look of her embroidered drape. This time she chose to let her hair down and that worked very well for her.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS

Our desi girl also made a ravishing appearance during all the pandal hoppings and we liked what we saw. Styled by Ami Patel, Priyanka grabbed the attention of fans and fashion police alike with her heavily detailed gulistan kurta from Rahul Mishra. The colorful detailing on a pristine while ensemble was just beautiful to look at. She paired her intricately detailed couture with a pair of elegant earrings from Tyaani. With a subtle glam and beach wave curls, she stole our heart away!

ALIA BHATT

Alia was a vision to behold in her hand-painted organza saree from the label Picchika. Teaming up her ethereal drape with a pair of golden jhumkis from Amrapali, she looked festive ready. Soft tousled curls, muted glam, and a minuscule bindi gave justice to her beauty.

RANI MUKERJI

Rani showed up looking at her traditional best for the festivities.

This white saree paired with accessories worked its charm on our beauty.

Opting for bold and defining colors with statement accessories and a radiant glam, she was good to go.

Now, ladies, you know to deck up for the festivals just around the corner!
