This year’s GQ Men of the year awards was all about opulent dressing and dapper looks. While a few tinsel town ladies aced their fashion game and served us some looks for the night, there were some who failed to impress us with their sartorial skills and missed the mark big time.
Nailed it or failed it? Here is how our leading Bollywood ladies fared at the gala:
KATRINA KAIF
Katrina made quite an appearance dressed in an embellished blazer from Naeem Khan. A black bralette top added to the chicness of her attire. Opting for a sans accessory look, Kaif made her embellished outfit the hero for the night. There is no doubt that we loved her attire, although Kat could have opted for bold makeup and dramatic hairdo to accentuate her look.
SWARA BHASKAR
Fashion is about sustainability as well and Swara made sure that she contributed her part in it. Recycling her late grandmother’s saree, the Veere Di Wedding actress cut out an elegant picture in a floral co-ord suit. She teamed up her pantsuit with a grey top and matching heels from Papa don't Preach by Shubhika. Silver accessories from Moha added an indie vibe to her look. With muted glam and a chic braided hairdo, she was good to go.
Apart from these super-gorgeous ladies, there were some others who turned heads with their good looks. Take a look:
SHRUTI HAASAN, MANUSHI CHHILLAR AND KALKI KOECHLIN
Umm…we have mixed feelings about their looks. Not stellar, however, not that disappointing either.
However, some of them just brought their same old style game back on the red carpet and we are a tad bit disappointed…
MALAVIKA MOHANAN AND RHEA CHAKRABORTY
RADHIKA MADAN, MANDIRA BEDI AND SURVEEN CHAWLA

SARA ALI KHAN
Sara was definitely a disappointment for the night with her LBD from label Monisha Jaising. Her overwhelming dramatic dress with those YSL inspired puff sleeves failed to do any justice to her beauty. Muted glam, pink lips or poker- straight tresses, nothing seemed to work in the favour of her looks. Could have definitely done better than this!
