Birthday Special: Hello 1983, We are calling 'cause Madonna still looks the same

From Virgin Marry to Marilyn Monroe, Madonna is the Queen of reinvention. The pop-sensation is breaking the rules since 1983 with not just her musical boundaries but style too. She is known for donning revolutionary fashion trends that shocked, repelled and inspired the masses. Her sense of style became as influential as her chart-topping tunes, still followed by her fans.

To celebrate the Queen of Pop's 60th birthday here is a look back at her most memorable looks!

ROCKING THE 80's

Rocking the 80's thrift shop club kid look and striking a pose for the lens Madonna showed her love for accessories with an endless amount of rubber bracelets. This look was revolutionary as it inspired the army of Madonna wannabes.

ALL ABOUT BUSTIERS

It was late 80's when Madonna bursting love for bustiers began. She made the innerwear look cool with a black leather corset and fishnet stocking (which is still in a trend). But her love for bold pieces didn't end there, she shocked the world with a pink cone-bra ensemble designer by Jean-Paul Gaultier.

The pop-sensation made a statement yet again on the premiere of her documentary in a glittering Dolce & Gabbana bustier littered with multi-colored jewels like only she could.

THE MATERIAL GIRL

For the 63rd Academy Awards, Madonna reinvented cinematic icon - Marilyn Monroe.  She accessorized the look with Harry Winston diamond necklace worth $20 million.

She even revisited the Victorian era to pay homage to Marie Antoinette at MTV Video Music Awards.

Then came a time when Madonna channelized her feminine side with flowy dresses with trails.

THE RED OBSESSION

With time she evolved her style statement and never shied away from paying homage to her heroes. During the premiere of her film Evita, Madonna dressed up like her favourite Argentine film actress, Eva Peron. She looked regal in a dazzling ruby-red Versace number.

At 41st Annual Grammy Awards, she rocked the stage in a bright-red Jean-Paul Gaultier kimono. This was the time when she was getting inspired by the Asian culture.

Recently she downed this red coat inspired by Debi Mazar from the label Fyodorgolan.

2018 AND STILL SO YOUNG!

The Madonna magic is not over yet. The sensation is still the same and we wonder how. We spotted her donning a sheer Givenchy gown at Met Gala 2016 flaunting her best assets. While this look, raised plenty of eyes, the singer didn't care and for her next Met Gala appearance, she opted for camouflage Moschino dress with bold accessories.

For Oscars 2018, Madonna didn't stop herself from experimenting with the fashion. She was seen donning a tuxedo dress from VEX.

Long live the Queen of Pop Culture!
