Check out how the leading ladies 'saree' all your festive season worries away

With the festive season approaching, we're sure everybody needs some outfit inspos. Well, what better than our good ol' friend- a well-draped saree! A lot of leading labels and designers are taking the evergreen drapes and fusing them with a sartorial twist. Drapes and drama? Well, you definitely have our attention!

katrina kaif

Katrina wore this blue geometric and floral printed saree that had tassels and sequins on in for an event in Delhi. Styled by Anaita Shroff, the actress definitely stunned in this subtle blue number.

Ladies, are you taking notes?

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana wore this green number from her personal closet for an event. High-street brand or no, Kangana still manages to look drop-dead gorgeous in this chiffon drape. The hairdo just adds the drama to the look.

Smashin' it, Kangs...you go girl!

Madhuri Dixit NENE

Madhuri wore this blingy Manish Malhotra number for an event recently. The actress wore this gray textured drape which held embellishments, sequins and embroidery, with a satin blouse which thoroughly complimented the look.

Evidently, Madhuri shines brightly in this look! (Haha, we love them sartorial puns!)

Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa looked jaw-drop gorgeous in muted yellow drape by Manish Malhotra. The pearl-encrusted blouse complimented the lemon yellow in a miraculous manner, while the belt added the edge to the look.

All in all, a mega-hit, we must say!

Diana Penty

Diana sported this jumpsuit-meets-saree fusion by Abraham and Thakore and we're in awe. The saree held floral prints that were lush yet not overbearing. The blouse shirt was fused with a onesie and a shoulder drape to make for this uber-cool outfit.

Thumbs Up!

Mouni Roy

Mouni Roy wore this Anamika Khanna drape at a promotional event in Delhi. The earthy gray drape was paired with an embellished blouse, a broad belt and a long cape. Such little detailing makes so much difference.

Hats off, Mouni!

Sophie Choudry

Sophie looked absolutely smokin' in this gray number by Manish Malhotra. The intricately embellished drape also had tassel and sequin details, which was paired with a heavily embellished blouse.

What a stunner!

Kajol

Kajol sported this yellow Anamika Khanna fusion drape at a promotional event recently. The yellow saree was fused with ruffles and lace, further paired with a long embroidered cape of the same color. The popping yellow color made all the difference in this look.

Totally diggin' it!

We guess we have your festive season sorted with this outfit inspos. What do you think?
