Madhuri Dixit Nene Gives Us Dhak Dhak Girl Goals

Who said we need the Indian festivities in full swing to give our Traditional wear a go. We live in Modern India where we are very much in touch with our roots. Madhuri Dixit Nene proves just that as we spot her dazzling in saris and suits. So let's get some valuable fashion lessons from this Dhak Dhak girl.

BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

Styled by Ami Patel, a popular among Bollywood celebs, this Saree donned by Madhuri is a JADE's design by designer duet Monica and Karishma. A classic black drape with delicate lace that acts as border falls beautifully on the actress. This is a handcrafted noir silk saree with detailed embellishments done using pearl and beadwork. We dig her embroidered halter sleeve blouse, a mix of tradition and modernity.

The choker Kundan necklace was just the right statement accessory highlighting the glam quotient. It is a fine piece by Jeweller Mahesh Notandas. The ring sported is an emerald and uncut diamond ring by Anmol Jewellers.

PINK DECADENCE

Transcending from black to a pretty frozen pink shade is Madhuri in this Anarkali gown. This is another of JADE's designs and her 'new meets old' aesthetics are swaying us.  An applaud to stylist Ami Patel and assistant stylist Sanjay Kumar Dahliya for curating such ensembles.

The silver earrings with the neck embroidery and the intricate lace dupatta add to the opulence and delicacy of the look.

BlUE CALMS

The Dhak Dhak quotient rises with this beautiful hue of blue. The silhouette of this dress by designer duo Sukriti and Aakriti is bang on, as pleats gracefully form a full ghera. The subtle yellow dupatta creates an interesting visual palette.

The accessories, makeup and hair are kept simple, her signature curls falling by. We do love this look but maybe she is missing on a statement neckpiece, what say?

Madhuri is currently busy promoting her next Marathi film, Bucket List set to release on 25th May 2018.
