The madly in love couple stepped out looking beautiful, at Kensington Palace, yesterday afternoon, happier than ever as they officially posed as a couple for the very first time.

In light of this happy moment, we at Peeping Moon decided to take you back on a nostalgic trip. Remember when Kate Middleton and Prince Charles officially stepped out as a couple for the very first time?

Yes, you do!

Middleton’s blue dress was one of the most iconic dresses to go down in the history of fashion archives. In London on November 16th, 2010, Middleton appeared in a blue long-sleeved Issa wrap dress, which complimented her blue sapphire perfectly with black pumps, retailing for $535, that sold out pretty much instantly. The phenomena at the rate which dresses seemed to sell out after being worn by Kate was titled the Kate effect!

Markle, on the other hand, was seen wrapped up in a white coat by Toronto-based label Line the Label layered over a green dress by an Italian line called P.A.R.O.S.H. This soon-to -be-royalty accessorized the outfit with her favorite Matilde heels from Aquazurra and a pair of £850 opal and diamond earring from Birks.

Markle’s label line coat, just like Kate’s dress, was sold in a matter of seconds!

Royal effect?
