Raqesh Bapat, who made it to the top 5 of Karan Johar's Bigg Boss OTT, recently opened up about being called 'henpecked' inside the house for his bond with Shamita Shetty. In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, the actor said he likes to 'treat his woman like a queen' and that doesn't make him weak or henpecked. After a task that happened between Shamita and Divya Agarwal, Raqesh was blamed for not taking a proper stand and only targeting Divya as he liked Shamita. Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Kashmera Shah targetted Raqesh after the task and tweeted, "Congratulations @RaQesh19 you are on your way to becoming a henpecked husband…again." To this, Raqesh's ex-wife Ridhi Dogra replied saying, "Again!? Excuse me. Kindly don't make loose comments. Peace out."
Reacting to the controversy, Raqesh told us, "I would say I’m not henpecked, I’m a caring husband because I always give my woman the space, the treatment, the respect and I don’t cross that. And I treat my woman like a queen and that’s what a man should do because there’s love & a lot of caring so somewhere I like to treat my people special and it doesn’t make you henpecked. You bow down to certain levels just because you want to give them that love so that is not being henpecked. I’ve always been like this and it doesn’t make me weak. It’s not about not taking a stand, it’s just that I ignore certain things and I do certain things for the person’s happiness. Henpecked and all are just names, I know what I am."
Again!? Excuse me.
Kindly don't make loose comments. Peace out.

On Ridhi’s constant support, Raqesh said, “I spoke to her yesterday. She messaged me also after I came out saying ‘you played well and I supported you all the time’. I knew she’d support me and I spoke to her and we discussed a lot of things about the house. She loved the way I played it, she said it with full respect.”
Raqesh was in the top 5 with Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, Nishant Bhat and Divya Agarwal. Divya won Bigg Boss OTT, making Nishant the first runner-up.
