Has Pooja Hegde ditched Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Telugu film Guntur Kaaram in favour of giving Shahid Kapoor’s tentatively titled Koi Shaq her full attention? That’s what it seems. PeepingMoon.com has learned that the actress was increasingly struggling to cope with the changing dates and the script of the Trivikram-directed Mahesh Babu film.
The fluctuations were causing clashes with her Bollywood film opposite Shahid Kapoor being directed by Rosshan Andrrews and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur. So, Pooja wisely decided to opt out of the Telugu film. Interestingly, the first look of Guntur Kaaram was unveiled on May 31. The film marked Pooja’s reunion with Mahesh Babu after Maharshi in 2019.
Pooja is ranked among the busiest actresses in India. Both, in Telugu and Hindi films. After her last two outings for Bollywood, Cirkus and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, flopped miserably at the box office, Pooja cut her losses and focused on delivering her best in some upcoming exciting projects. With renewed energy, she’s busy signing films that will resonate with her audiences across the country and worldwide too.
Koi Shaq is an action thriller. It will be Pooja’s first film with Shahid, who is enjoying the success of his OTT film Bloody Daddy.
