All eyes are on Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which is releasing on March 8. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, the film directed by Luv Ranjan is a rom-com. It marks the return of Shraddha to the big screen after a gap of 3 years. While the actress, who is known to have the image of a girl-next-door, has a gentle side to her, she believes she is her biggest critic.
In an exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon for Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Shraddha reacted to whether she watches her own films objectively or emotionally. "I look at it very subjectively. I often feel this (scene) could have been better, that (scene) could have been better. I cannot watch it objectively, haven't developed that skill yet. I'm my biggest critic," the actress shared.

Talking to us, she also shed light on how filmmakers started believing in her after the humongous success of Aashiqui 2 in 2013. "Nobody wanted to work with me before Aashiqui 2 (2013). I am grateful for the film as it gave me many more opportunities. Before Aashiqui 2, I was craving to get more films and wanted to be a part of more stories. It was difficult for filmmakers to believe in me. Mohit Suri did. Even Aditya Chopra believed in me for Luv Ka The End (2011). After Teen Patti (2010), there was nobody to believe in me. I gave many auditions too. People say I am from a film family but my journey has not been like that. I actually feel more like an outsider. As the film became a blockbuster, people started taking me seriously," Shraddha told.
Shraddha was last seen in Baaghi 3 which released right before the nation went into lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020.
