Aashka Goradia Goble is undoubtedly a one 'woman' army. Be it her acting career or successfully transitioning into being a beauty entrepreneur, Aashka has always managed to create her own space. In PeepingMoon's Entertainment Correspondent Rashita Sahni's Women's Day special segment 'ExtraordiNARI', Aashka took us through her journey as an actor, making her cosmetic brand Renée a success after failing in 4 businesses, having a supportive husband & dealing with society's notions about women like a boss.
Talking about not allowing anyone to downsize her because of her gender, Aashka said, "This Women's Day I really want to bring about a dialogue that when it's about your cerebral equality, that is where you need equality to function. I don't see someone trying to tell me because I am a woman, I can't do it. There has never been a case with me, I haven't allowed people to create such a dialogue like that."
She further added, "When I pitch something as an actor or an entrepreneur, this isn't about which gender your leader comes from. Leadership has nothing to do with gender. I haven't allowed it and because probably I haven't allowed it I have had very little experience of somebody downsizing me because of my gender."
