Comedian and actor Sunil Grover has undergone a heart surgery at Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute. The hospital has confirmed with PeepingMoon.com that Sunil, 44, was diagnosed with blockages in his heart.
According to Asian Heart Hospital, "Sunil Grover is admitted to our hospital. He is doing better than before and is currently recovering. His heart surgery had to be done, suddenly. Currently, the hospital staff does not want to share many details about Sunil's health issues as his family has requested the staff members to keep the information private and not share it publicly. Sunil is under observation and will be in the ICCU for the next two days. Blockage in his heart was found after he fainted somewhere in Mumbai."
The hospital staff further said, "Sunil was brought from Pune to the hospital after he started feeling sudden chest pain while shooting for a web show there. 3 blockages were then found in his heart. The actor's wife and sister are present at the hospital with him."
On the work front, Sunil was last seen in ZEE5's web show Sunflower.
