Exclusive: Hina Khan’s debut film 'Lines' to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17


Hina Khan is in the best phase of her career as she is all set to make her debut in Bollywood with Lines and in the meantime, PeepingMoon has exclusively learned that her first film will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 on May 17.

Sources said that Hina will be present at the screening of her film as she will head to Cannes on May 12. The 31-year-old actress will be walking the mini red carpet ahead of the premiere of Lines at Cannes. This will be Hina’s debut appearance on the Cannes red carpet as well.

Directed by Hussein Khan, Lines is reportedly based on the Kargil War and casts Hina as the protagonist. Rishi Bhutani, known for his appearances in the films Bolo Raam and Ramratan, stars opposite Hina in the film. "It's good to be a part of the film, as it is an interesting character. I'm playing a Pakistani guy,” Rishi had told an entertainment portal about his role in Lines.

Hina Khan, best known for her role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, currently plays Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has also participated in reality shows such as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11.
