Bhumi Satish Pednekkar marked her presence at the recently held World Economic Forum's annual meeting for future leaders in Dubai. The actress took to her social media handle to share a string of clicks from the prestigious platform, and accompanied it with a warm note. What makes her presence even more special is that she attends the event as a YGL graduate!

Describing the past few days as "fulfilling, rejuvenating and full of purpose," the actress explains how incredibly special it is to be in a room with people who are coming together from different fields, yet sharing the common desire to make the world a better place. ”I always walk away with newer ideas, exciting possibilities, potential collaborations, and friendships that I know will stay with me for a long time. A YGL is always a call away, any city, any time,“ she says.

Further, Bhumi mentions that this year was "extra special." “I graduated and officially became a YGL Alumni, Class of 2024. While one chapter may have come to a close, the journey, the learning, and the community continue,” she says in a post.

“These are the people who give you wings and encourage you to fly, while also keeping you grounded when you need it most. And perhaps that’s what makes this community so special, you leave feeling inspired by what others are doing, challenged to do more yourself, and reminded of how much there still is to learn,” she adds.

When it comes to speaking of bringing a significant improvement and actually working upon it, Bhumi has extended a hands-on approach by actively speaking against gender-based violence, climate crisis and concerns that carry a large impact. Fueling the steady growth of education across regions, the actress is also working upon building a tribal school in Madhya Pradesh.

As Bhumi continues this journey, she expressed how incredibly grateful she is for the people, the purpose, the friendships, and all that lies ahead.
