The first poster places Sidharth within the mysterious realm of Vvaan, drawing audiences towards a world that appears far removed from the familiar. The second, however, throws up an entirely different image - a powerful warrior, surrounded by an atmosphere that shows a larger mythology. Put the two posters together and an obvious question emerges -- are there two Sidharths in the story? Or are these 2 new characters entirely?
Could the actor be playing two characters connected by the forest? Is one an outsider who enters Vvaan while the other belongs to the world within it? Or is the warrior another version of the same character, with the film moving between different timelines or dimensions? The makers aren't giving anything away yet, leaving audiences to connect the dots ahead of the teaser.
What makes the mystery particularly intriguing is the film's genre. The Vvaan – Force of the Forrest isn't positioning itself as a straightforward supernatural story. It combines folklore fantasy, action, adventure and drama, while building an original world around ancient beliefs, mysterious symbols and a forest governed by its own rules. The film's ambition is to take rooted Indian folklore and turn it into a large-scale theatrical experience, creating a world audiences haven't seen before.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film marks Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's maiden on-screen pairing. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, The Vvaan – Force of the Forrest arrives in cinemas on September 25.
