Akshay Kumar Announces 18th International Kudo Tournament, Event to be Held in Ahmedabad on November 15

Akshay Kumar has officially announced the 18th international Kudo tournament, marking the return of the Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament (AKKT). On August 5, the actor took to his social media handle to state that the 18th edition of the event will be held in Ahmedabad on November 15.

“Ek aur safar. Ek aur challenge. Ek hi junoon… Kudo 18th Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament ke liye milte hain Ahmedabad mein. 15 November, 2026,” he accompanied with his social media post, and the announcement has sparked tremendous excitement among martial arts enthusiasts as the tournament continues with its mission of promoting Kudo across the country. 

The Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament was founded in 2009, and it continues to remain one of the reigning combat sports event. Kumar, who is a trained martial artist, launched this initiative alongside Hanshi Mehul Vora, President of the Kudo International Federation India (KIFI). 

What makes AKKT a standout among others is the free allowance for athletes. Through this, it has supported a number of young martial artists across cities, towns and villages. As AKKT fuels the growth of Kudo in India, it also earns recognition for making combat sports events even more accessible.
