Niki Walia On Reuniting With Sanjay Kapoor In Bhai Tera Star Hai: 'He's One Of The Most Fun Co-stars To Work With'

Niki Walia has successfully made her mark in showbiz and has been appreciated for her memorable performances over the years. The actress has been consistently winning the hearts of the audience with her natural acting, be it her powerful roles on the small screen or films. Now she is all set to entertain the audience again with Bhai Tera Star Hai, alongside Raghav Juyal. It is also her reunion with Sanjay Kapoor, with whom she has shared screen space earlier in projects like Shaandaar and Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara.

Speaking about reuniting with Sanjay Kapoor, Niki revealed that she was genuinely excited the moment she came to know they would be working together again. However, what caught her attention first was the name of his character.

"I was extremely excited. The first thing I joked about was his character's name. It's 'Fatty' in the film, and I remember saying, 'From which angle is Sanjay Kapoor fatty?'" she said with a laugh.

She quickly clarified that the name is only a nickname in the story and viewers will understand its context after watching the film. Niki also praised Sanjay's makeover in Bhai Tera Star Hai, saying his appearance is unlike anything audiences have seen before. "I was very excited about the look they created for him. It's completely different, and I think Sanjay has carried it off brilliantly," she added.

According to Niki, one of the biggest reasons Sanjay is such an easy co-star is his cheerful personality. "What makes Sanjay so easy to work with is his sense of humour. He's always making everyone laugh. He's caring, easy-going and creates such a positive atmosphere on the set," she shared.

The actress admitted she was happy to collaborate with him once again because of the comfort they already shared. "He's funny, kind-hearted and someone who makes the entire shooting experience enjoyable. It was wonderful working with him again," she said.

Asked if working together again brought back memories from their earlier projects, Niki said she didn't feel nostalgic in the traditional sense. Instead, she simply enjoyed seeing Sanjay's dedication to his craft once again.

"Honestly, I wouldn't call it nostalgia. What I remembered most was how much fun he is on set. He takes his work very seriously, but the moment the camera stops rolling, he's cracking jokes and making everyone laugh," she explained.

Niki revealed that one conversation they did revisit was about Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara, which ended much sooner than expected. "We did talk about how unfortunate it was that Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara ended so abruptly because of channel-related issues. It never got the ending it deserved," she recalled.

She also admired the effort Sanjay put into transforming himself for Bhai Tera Star Hai. "I loved how confidently he embraced his new look for the film. From the wig to the hairstyle, everything was so different, and he completely owned the character. It's always a pleasure working with him because he brings so much energy and positivity to the set," Niki concluded.
