When the trailer of Welcome To The Jungle dropped, the action, comedy and massive ensemble cast grabbed attention. But tucked between all the madness was a melody that refused to go unnoticed. In just a few seconds, O Mere Balam left audiences asking one question - When does the full song release?
The wait ends with the launch of O Mere Balam, the newest track from the film's soundtrack. Unlike the film's celebratory numbers like Tera Paisa Mera Paisa, O Mere Balam is intimate. It is a quirky melody that relies on its tune giving the album a softer moment.
Composed by Anand Raaj Anand, with lyrics by Farhad Shamji, the song has been sung by KavyaKriti and Saket B.
Speaking about the composition, Anand Raaj Anand says, "When we were working on O Mere Balam, I wanted the melody to do the talking. Sometimes you don't need a loud arrangement or complicated structure. A simple tune, if it comes from the heart, stays with people. I think that's what audiences connected with when they first heard those few seconds in the trailer."
He adds, "The response to that brief glimpse genuinely surprised us. People kept asking about the song, and that told us the melody had already found its audience. I'm happy they can finally listen to it in its entirety."
Music production for the track has been handled by Ankit Gupta (Ankiie), with programming by Ankiie as well. The song has been mixed and mastered by Bhaskar Sarma. Considering that the film releases tomorrow, June 26, the paid previews will be held from 7:30 pm onwards today, June 25.
With O Mere Balam, the makers add another chartbuster to the film's vastly diverse music album. If Tera Paisa Mera Paisa brings the party, O Mere Balam lets the melody take centre stage.
