Ananya Panday And Lakshya Starrer Chand Mera Dil Drops Its Full Album That Explores Shades of Modern Love Through Melody And Heartbreak

National, 18th May 2026: As the music of Chand Mera Dil starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya continues to strike a chord with listeners, the makers have now officially unveiled the film’s highly anticipated music album, promising a soundtrack that journeys through every shade of love, longing, heartbreak, vulnerability and hope. Chand Mera Dil album is shaping up to become one of the most emotionally resonant musical releases of the year.

Composed and produced by the duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the album leans into emotion in its purest form, bringing together a rich mix of voices and moods, with every track carrying its own distinct identity. Leading the album with the title track Chand Mera Dil sung by Faheem Abdullah, that introduced audiences to warmth, innocence and comfort of love. Aitbaar, also voiced by Faheem, explored the fragile and painful side of relationships with an intense emotional pull. On the other hand, Khasiyat by Raghav Chaitanya and Jonita Gandhi brought the flirtatious energy to the album, capturing the butterflies and chaos of modern romance.

The other tracks continue to expand the emotional world of the soundtrack. Phir Ajnabi sung by Junaid Ahmed, taps into the ache of two people slowly becoming strangers again, while Ishq Nibhaavan De sees Tushar Joshi and Neeti Mohan bringing two emotional perspectives to love that refuses to give up. The album also features a special female rendition of the title track Chand Mera Dil by the iconic Shreya Ghoshal, adding a softer and more intimate layer to the film’s central emotion. Meanwhile Tumhi Ko sung by Raghav Chaitanya and Suvarna Tiwari, brings a soaring, feel-good romantic energy to the album, capturing the rush and comfort of finding your person in the middle of life’s chaos. 

Speaking about the album, composer-producer Sachin-Jigar shared, “With Chand Mera Dil, we wanted the music to feel like a journey, almost like different chapters of one love story. Every track captures a different phase and emotion. What made this album truly special for us was collaborating with such incredible singers and artists, each of whom brought their own honesty and soul to the songs. Seeing listeners connect so deeply with the music and make these songs a part of their own stories has honestly been the most beautiful feeling for us.”

Director Vivek Soni shared, “What I love most about the Chand Mera Dil album is how emotionally fluid it feels. It moves through so many shades of love and relationships, comfort, excitement, longing, heartbreak, vulnerability, hope, almost like a real emotional rollercoaster. Every song has its own personality and space within the album, but together they feel like chapters of the same story. Sachin-Jigar’s music, Amitabh Da’s lyrics, and the incredible voices behind every track have brought so much honesty and heart to the soundtrack. I genuinely feel people will see parts of their own relationships and emotions in these songs.”

With listeners already connected to the world of Chand Mera Dil, the full album announcement further heightens anticipation around the film and its music, positioning it as one of the year’s most immersive and heartfelt soundtracks. Presented by Dharma Productions, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza. Directed by Vivek Soni, the movie is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on May 22, 2026.
