South superstar Thalapathy Vijay's son, Jason Sanjay, is currently making headlines regarding his upcoming debut film. His directorial debut, Sigma, is already garnering significant attention even before its release.
According to media reports, Jason has chosen not to use his father's name in the credits of his film. It is reported that he has opted to use the initial 'S' alongside his name instead of 'V’, an initial believed to be linked to his mother, Sangeetha Sornalingam.
Typically, in the South Indian film industry, star kids adopt their father's initials; however, Jason's decision is being viewed as a departure from this norm. Many interpret this move as an attempt to carve out his own distinct identity. Nevertheless, neither Jason nor Vijay has issued an official statement regarding this change thus far.
In recent times, the personal lives of Vijay and his wife, Sangeetha, have also been in the news. Various speculations surrounding their relationship and divorce have been circulating, keeping news related to the family constantly in the spotlight.
On the professional front, Jason Sanjay is set to launch his career as a director with the film Sigma. South Indian actor Sundeep Kishan will be seen in the lead role in this movie. It remains to be seen what kind of mark Jason will be able to make in the industry with his very first film.
