Haryana State Women's Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia has strongly reacted to the controversy surrounding rapper-singer Badshah's new song "Tateeree." She stated that the language used in the song insults the daughters of Haryana and is intolerable. Let's explore the entire matter.
Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, also known as Badshah, has been embroiled in controversy over some of the lyrics in his new song "Tateeree." Following the song's release, many people objected to the lyrics and the scenes depicted in the video. Complainants stated that the language used in the song is offensive and insults the dignity of women.
Speaking to the media, Renu Bhatia said, "What Badshah has done is unforgivable. Using such indecent language against the daughters of Haryana is intolerable." She stated that Badshah has been summoned to appear before the Commission on March 13th in this matter. They warned that if he failed to appear, he would not be allowed to work.
Following the controversy, Badshah issued a video apology on Saturday. He said, "I myself am from Haryana. My language, food habits, and identity are all rooted in Haryana. I had no intention of making any derogatory remarks about any woman or child. Please forgive me, considering me a son of Haryana."
Meanwhile, the police have filed an FIR against Badshah in this case. The process of issuing a lookout circular against him has also been initiated, and a notice has been sent to him for questioning. Police teams are also conducting raids to search for him.
