‘I fear mortality when I take a flight!’ Karan Johar reveals the real reason in Peeping Moon podcast

In the recent ‘BenchMARK Conversations’ podcast on PeepingMoon.com, presented by Reliance Digital, Karan Johar tells Mark Manuel that now more than ever he fears mortality when he takes a flight. The Bollywood filmmaker, TV impresario and style icon suffers from travel trauma. And says that “there are flights that scare me… flights that are turbulent”. But also admits that the whole process for him is a bigger deal than it is.

He says, “There is no logic to it because what can happen in a flight is much safer than what can happen in a car!” The reason for this candid admission was a social media post by KJo that came up during the podcast in which he admits his fear of flying. “My kids are so young, and my mother is fragile health-wise, I feel like I’ve got to be around long for them, so now when I take a flight – these thoughts do cross my mind,” Karan Johar reveals.
