He admitted that he was deeply moved by the film until the very end and regretted not being able to see it in theaters. Karan specifically praised Yami Gautam's performance, calling it brilliant, outstanding, and groundbreaking. He wrote that Yami's silence, her expressive eyes, and the film's final monologue were nothing short of a masterclass. Karan saluted Yami and said that he has become a lifelong fan of her work.

Praising the film's director, Suparn Verma, Karan said that he presented the story in a very balanced and nuanced manner, which further strengthened the film's emotions and impact.
