TVF (The Viral Fever) is one of India’s biggest content producers and has consistently delivered some of the most relatable and entertaining shows. It stands as one of the driving forces in the entertainment industry, having redefined the OTT space with its highly captivating content and proven that no one understands the audience better than them. While TVF has introduced many remarkable talents through its shows, Mona Singh also credits the platform for kickstarting her OTT journey after television.
Recently, Mona Singh was seen speaking about her transition from TV to OTT, while acknowledging and crediting TVF for the same. She said, "Since lockdown 2020, everybody embraced OTT because we were sitting at home and consuming all the content. But for me, I felt individually, as a person, as an artist, TV was enough for me. I had done almost everything on TV. So there was nothing more left for TV to offer. So I felt now I should take the next big step, which I wasn't sure of what to do. But I used to watch a lot of TVF series on YouTube. And I was really inspired that I should do something like this. This is so real and relatable. So I did my first web series with TVF, Yeh Meri Family. And then of course, you know, my journey with OTT began and there was no looking back. So I'm celebrating this time. I'm doing all different kinds of roles, movies, OTT, balancing it out, trying to balance it out in the right way. But whatever it is, I think OTT has worked out just fine for me."
Mona Singh worked with TVF in Yeh Meri Family. While she had already been a sensation in the television industry, her journey in the OTT space kickstarted with TVF, and the rest is history. This indeed speaks volumes about how TVF has always believed in real and exceptional talent.
Moreover, TVF has played a pivotal role in transforming India’s digital storytelling space. Starting with Permanent Roommates in 2014, it sparked the web-series revolution and went on to deliver groundbreaking shows like Pitchers, Tripling, Aspirants, Panchayat, Kota Factory, and Gullak. By championing fresh talent and creating relatable narratives rooted in real life, TVF has built a universe audiences trust and cherish.
Its consistent acclaim from viewers and critics is further proven by its sweeping nominations this year. Always pushing boundaries, TVF is now expanding into a new creative territory with VVAN – Force of the Forest, a collaboration between Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Arunabh Kumar’s The Viral Fever.
