Junglee Pictures’ HAQ Shines at IFFI 2025 with a Special Screening on 22nd November

Junglee Pictures’ HAQ is all set to be screened at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The festival is scheduled to be held from 20th to 28th November, and HAQ will have its special screening on 22nd November. Directed by Suparn S Varma and produced by Junglee Pictures, HAQ has already sparked conversations, received positive reviews, and garnered widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics since its theatrical release. Its much-deserved showcase at IFFI now elevates these conversations to a global stage.

Revolving around themes of religion, justice, faith, identity, liberalism, and policy and law — specifically the Uniform Civil Code under Article 44 — HAQ’s premiere at IFFI 2025 marks a monumental moment in amplifying the film’s voice to a larger, international audience. Starring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar, HAQ is more than a film; it is a journey of faith, human dignity, women’s rights, and the complexities of the Uniform Civil Code unfolding within the four walls of a courtroom.

Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar deliver two of their most layered performances to date. As Abbas Khan and Shazia Bano, they have earned immense appreciation not just for their nuanced portrayals but also for taking on one of the boldest on-screen narratives in recent times.

Directed by Suparn S Varma, HAQ stars Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar, and also features Vartika Singh in her debut performance alongside powerhouse actors Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain, and Aseem Hattangady. Written by Reshu Nath, and produced by Junglee Pictures in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, HAQ is currently running in theatres near you.
