Upasana Konidela Completes Sai Baba Vrat with Seva Initiative

Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals CSR and a wellness advocate, has successfully completed the Sai Baba Vrat, a 9-week spiritual observance performed on consecutive Thursdays. Beginning on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima (July 10th) and concluding on September 4th, the vrat is known to symbolize devotion, discipline, and healing.

For Upasana, these nine weeks were filled with peace and introspection. Speaking about her experience, she said, 'Taking up the Sai Baba Vrat has been a journey of devotion, discipline & healing. Baba has given me more than I could have ever expected and I am ever grateful'

To mark the completion of the vrat, a unique seva initiative was undertaken through Athamma’s Kitchen. Specially curated Sai Baba Vrat Kits were made available to devotees, with a promise that for every kit sold, 9 meals would be served to those in need.

The initiative received an encouraging response with 105 kits sold. Staying true to the commitment, on the final day of the vrat, 945 meals were prepared and distributed. The meals included traditional Pongal and Kesari, cooked and served with devotion by Athamma’s Kitchen.

This initiative stands as a heartfelt expression of gratitude — blending faith, service, and togetherness, while echoing Sai Baba’s teaching of “Shraddha aur Saburi” (faith and patience).
