Ahaan Panday has made a stellar debut with his debut film Saiyaaraa. The musical love story directed by Mohit Suri released in theatres on July 18 and made record-breaking collections at the box office. The success of the film gave both Ahaan and his co-star Anit Padda a new identity among the youth and both became sensations overnight.

During the promotion of the film, director Mohit Suri referred to Ahaan as a "TikToker". Now, Ahaan has opened up about his Instagram personality. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, he said that when he was active on Instagram, his image was not what he really is. It was a persona that he adopted to get the attention of the film industry and get work.

Talking about his character Krish, Ahaan said that this role was completely different from his expectations. He said that usually his auditions were like a light-hearted, energetic and positive guy, but Krish's nature is not that anyone would want to see him in their neighborhood.

 Saiyaara got a great response from the audience. The story, music and chemistry of the two new faces won the hearts of the audience. Within a few days of its release, the film became a blockbuster and gave Ahaan Pandey a strong start in the industry.
